The pathway I produced was to highlight that most of the cost out to 2050 is in fact from renewables use not rising energy costs so on is based on the FOE pathway, But substitutes nuclear for all renewables except the use of waste for fuel and minimal extra home insulation being used. The cost is £4178 per person and there is an 80% reduction in carbon use.

This is not my own preference, but serves to illustrate that the costs incurred are mostly due to the use of renewables. IMO a better outcome could be had by using energy more generously, economically and in terms of comfort, but the analysis does not highlight the advvantages of that course of actiion.
