Title: 2050 working assumption Coal Price 2050 working assumption 2030-50

Content: Low and High prices from DECC Fossil Fuel Price Projections. Prices are from 2030 - the furthest projections reach - and are assumed to stay the same between then and 2050.

As a simplifying assumption, we have treated domestic production of coal as costing the same as imports.

XVI.b Balancing imports costs and XV.b Indigenous fossil-fuel production explain how this assumption is used in the 2050 pathways project.

Content: Low and High prices from DECC Fossil Fuel Price Projections. Prices in the period 2030 - 2050 are the value for 2030, which is the furthest projections reach.

Between 2010 and 2030, prices used in the model for any year are in line with the DECC projections for that year.
