I wonder if I have found a few bugs in the DECC 2050 Calculator? And whether these have already been corrected on later versions? I am using version 3.4.6.
Looking at worksheet I.b,
LINE 258: Appears to multiply coal CCS build rates by gas power station CAPEX, and multiplies gas CCS build rates by coal fired power station CAPEX.
LINE 259: Appears to multiply coal CCS installed capacities by gas power station OPEX, and multiplies gas CCS installed capacities by coal fired power station OPEX.
LINE 263: Appears to multiply coal CCS build rates by gas power station CAPEX, and multiplies gas CCS build rates by coal fired power station CAPEX.
LINE 264: Appears to use coal post-combustion build rate when it should use coal post-combustion installed capacity.
