Notes
The 2050 pathways model assumes up to 0.7 MtCO2e abatement by 2050, compared with 2007 manure emissions, once changes in number of cattle and proportion of slurry used for Anaerobic Digestion have been adjusted for.
The MacLeod et al 2010 cost source does not contain that much abatement.
As an interim fix, assume that the abatement cost ranges from the top end of their manure management cost (£70/tCO2e) to double that cost.
Need to investigate whether the difference in abatement potential is because of different beliefs about abatement potential, or because the MacLeod et al 2010 cost source adjusts for reduced manure through Anaerobic Digestion.
